Lumier Solar was founded to address the low market penetration of solar energy in Alberta. With Kunal’s background in accounting and entrepreneurship and Habib’s role as COO focusing on sales growth, they formed a dedicated team.
They started as a local Calgary-based installer, ensuring every solar panel installation was reviewed by an engineering firm. Despite a successful start, they noticed a drop in conversion rates during the installation season. This led them to refine their process, aiming to complete 200 installs this year and scaling up to 1,000 next year.
With a focus on generating leads, they rely heavily on word-of-mouth referrals. Lumier Solar is committed to making solar energy accessible and affordable for all Calgarians.
